Company Description StockRunner is a fast-growing technology company helping the UK’s independent retailers spend less time managing stock and more time serving their customers. By replacing manual, paper-based ordering with a simple mobile app, StockRunner enables shopkeepers to scan, photograph, or enter items and generate accurate orders in minutes. The platform integrates directly with major UK wholesalers, streamlining stock management for corner shops and convenience stores across the country. Built in close collaboration with shop owners, StockRunner has grown through word of mouth into a strong community of independent retailers. The company is on a mission to give small retailers the same practical, affordable tools that large chains rely on, tailored to how real shops operate.

Role Description StockRunner is seeking a full-time Sales and Marketing Specialist to join the on-site team in London. This role involves identifying and engaging prospective independent retailers, presenting the value of StockRunner’s platform, and managing the sales cycle from initial outreach to onboarding. The specialist will support retailers through demonstrations and training sessions, ensuring they can effectively use the app to improve their operations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
