Established in Brighouse in 1895, we combine a proud history with a forward-thinking culture focused on innovation, teamwork and continuous improvement.
Our purpose is simple: to make it safe — for our customers, our communities and our people.
If you are reliable, motivated and keen to learn, we will provide the training and support you need to build a long-term career with us.
Join a supportive workplace where your ideas are valued and you can grow with the business.
Why Join Siddall and Hilton?
As Sales and Operations Administrator, you’ll be at the centre of our commercial operation, working with customers, production, transport and sales to make sure every order reaches the customer on time.
Reporting to the Sales Office Manager and working closely with the commercial team, transport and supply chain, you’ll play a key role in keeping customer orders moving and supporting the continued growth of Siddall & Hilton.
We make welded steel mesh in Brighouse, and we have done since 1895. You’ll be based in our modern, professional office environment. It’s a busy, friendly environment where good administration keeps everything running — a role with real variety, visible impact and plenty of contact across the business.
We’re an SME with a long history and a forward-thinking outlook. Being this size means you’ll be close to the decisions – and that priorities sometimes shift, so the role suits someone flexible, happy to take on a broad range of duties and to contribute beyond a narrow remit when needed. In return there’s genuine scope to develop as you grow into the role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
