About the Opportunity
An incredibly exciting opportunity has arisen within our growing Events by Benugo team. As we enter the next phase of our development and expansion, we are looking for an ambitious and experienced sales leader to help drive our events business.
The Role
The Sales and Planning Manager is a crucial leadership role within Events by Benugo, responsible for driving group-wide sales performance and maximising event revenue across the portfolio. This includes private dining, celebrations, corporate events, exclusive venue hires, and growing the brand's external catering operations.
With a portfolio of exceptional venues, growth plans, and a number of exciting new projects on the horizon, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about sales, events and building lasting client relationships.
Job Description
The Central Sales and Planning Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Sales and Events team to drive revenue growth through group bookings, event sales, and strategic planning. We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially minded individual with a proactive, can-do attitude, a passion for sales, and a proven ability to win new business while fostering strong client relationships.

The successful candidate will have previous experience managing sales and events teams and will possess exceptional organisational and planning skills, with a strong attention to detail. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, developing relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and key stakeholders, and ensuring the seamless delivery of group bookings and events.
Working within a fast-paced environment, you will lead by example, inspire high performance, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the business through effective sales strategies, client engagement, and commercial planning.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in sales/events management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Support the implementation of the strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for group bookings and private events
- Create and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and private individuals to drive sales opportunities and repeat business
- Support a team of sales and events coordinators to ensure exceptional service delivery and maximise revenue potential
- Conduct site visits and tastings for prospective clients, showcasing the unique offerings of each restaurant within the group
- Oversee the end-to-end event planning process, from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up, to ensure seamless execution and guest satisfaction
- Coordinate with operations managers and chefs to ensure all event details are executed flawlessly, including menu customisation
- Analyse sales performance and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation
- Conduct weekly sales group and financial performance
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand brand awareness and foster new business relationships
