Scan Computers Pro Visual – Sales and Logistics Support

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and expanding company. We’re looking for a motivated and driven team player to work in the Digital Signage Business Unit. Primary responsibility is to support the sales team and help manage and progress business development. This provides a perfect opening and introduction to End to End solutions and, in the future, the successful candidate may identify a transition further into the business

General

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:30
  • Location: Scan Computers International Ltd, Enterprise Park, Middlebrook, Horwich, Bolton, BL6 6PE.
  • Salary: Flexible based on experience and skillset

Key Responsibilities

As a Sales and Logistics Administrator, you will be focussing on providing support to the sales team

  • Manage leads, organizing and categorising their project status, and liaising with Account Managers as needed
  • Registration and management of new projects using ‘deal reg’ with vendors
  • Complete quotes in a professional format
  • Process sales orders for the Account Managers
  • Creating overviews of project progress, including keeping track of stock requirements and availability, and advising Account Managers and purchasers as needed

  • Proactively check online sales queries and E-sales
  • Work with Pro AV BU head, vendors and purchasing on new product setup
  • Proactively manage licence renewal estates
  • Managing the selection of products available on the configurator
  • Implement and manage new and existing Product Categories, and their products
  • Work with the web team and suppliers on content for online products
  • Support the marketing team

Working with Vendors, and provide purchasing support

  • Speaking to suppliers about new products, road maps and chase ETAs
  • Analyse costs against the market, and previous agreements
  • Resource and track sample products for the technical team

Personal

  • Increase product knowledge through personal research and ongoing internal training
  • Gain an in-depth knowledge of Scan’s offerings and services
  • Ad hoc support tasks requested by the Management Team
  • Representing Scan in a professional manner at all times

Skills and Experience

For this role, you will ideally have the following skills:

  • Highly organised, with good administration skills
  • Methodical, process driven, and with a high attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving, with a flexible approach to a varied workload
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Written English to a high standard, and a friendly, professional and confident telephone manner
  • High level of numeric skills
  • Comfortable interacting and engaging with all customers, and proficient in vendor and customer relations
  • Will effectively plan, coordinate and communicate requirements with suppliers
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and team working skills
  • Appetite for development
  • Proactive, energetic and solution focused with an interest in the IT and Technology Industry
  • Working well within a team and independently
  • High levels of effort, commitment and drive
  • Developed skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Previous experience in a project based role would be advantageous
