Sales and Revenue Manager

9 Month Fixed-Term Contract

London | Hybrid Working

The Opportunity

A leading global technology and engineering organisation is seeking an experienced Sales and Revenue Manager to support a major, high-profile programme within the UK public transport sector.

The role will take responsibility for sales operations, retail revenue, revenue assurance and associated financial controls across a complex fare collection environment.

You will oversee high-volume, multi-channel sales activity, ensuring sales and payment data is accurately captured, reconciled and reported, while maintaining strong financial controls and compliance with contractual requirements.

This is a senior role requiring a combination of revenue assurance, payments, retail operations and commercial/financial management experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage sales operations across multiple retail channels, including ticket machines, ticket offices and wider retail networks.
  • Take accountability for end-to-end revenue integrity, ensuring sales data is accurately captured, reconciled and reported.
  • Oversee fare media and cash payment processes, including authorisation, settlement and transaction reconciliation.
  • Manage relationships and processes involving payment services and merchant acquirers.
  • Oversee the operational and financial aspects of fare media issuance and enablement, including individual and bulk encoding, fare product loading and secure distribution.
  • Lead the preparation of sales, revenue, budget, forecast and variance reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial information is provided to key stakeholders.
  • Act as a senior commercial and revenue interface with the customer, leading discussions around sales performance, revenue assurance and financial matters.
  • Maintain appropriate financial controls, audit processes and revenue assurance frameworks.
  • Provide leadership across sales, retail operations and revenue functions, establishing clear processes, controls and performance measures.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
