Position Overview

This position will be responsible for developing rapport with our in-bound PXG customer base and assist with sales consultations, order inquiries and scheduling club fitting appointments. The ideal candidate will be accustomed to building strong customer relationships and demonstrate success in converting prospects to conversions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound calls, emails and live chat enquiries in a professional, confident and timely manner; articulate the PXG story and provide 5-star customer service and follow-up.
  • Actively consult, cross-sell and up-sell across all customer interactions to maximize sales opportunities, revenue and profitability.
  • Provide “first contact” resolution by actively listening to customers and responding effectively to their needs.
  • Assist with outbound campaigns to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Accurately process customer and internal orders, take payments and arrange returns.
  • Update customers on promotions and incorporate relevant details into regular customer conversations.
  • Conduct telephone fitting consultations, accurately recommending the best possible equipment for each customer.
  • Recognize, document and alert Call Centre & Sales Operations Manager to trends and opportunities identified through customer interactions.
  • Capture, document and update customer interactions via the in-house CRM, including PXG for Heroes sign-up and supporting Heroes with their discounts and purchasing process.
  • Develop strong partnerships with the internal fitting team and green grass accounts to arrange fittings.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and stay up to date with new products, technologies, promotions and relevant PXG information.
  • Occasionally and, where appropriate, provide optional support at events and activations where PXG has a presence, assisting with customer engagement, product support and lead generation.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.

Experience and Education:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of inbound customer service experience and/or related experience
  • Sales experience required
  • Golf industry experience preferred

Skills Required:

  • Engaging, confident and articulate communicator with passion to provide solutions-based resolution – both verbal and written.
  • Strong phone and active listening skills are essential.
  • Strong desire to provide excellent customer service experience through multiple communication channels.
  • Must have strong command of the English language, and able to speak, read and write in English
  • Flexible approach, based on business demand, and willingness to work in an environment of changing and competing priorities
  • Possess a high level of self-motivation, accountability, and willingness to do, and learn, what it takes to get the job done
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Attention to detail with the ability to adapt/respond to varying problems/tasks.
  • Ability to work as part of a highly collaborative team, and equally effective as an independent contributor
  • High level of integrity, sound judgement and discretion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically, Word and Excel, and previous customer database experience highly desired.
