Sales & Trade Marketing Internship

Miss Kim | London | Hybrid

Build an emerging FMCG brand from the inside.

Miss Kim is a Korean food and lifestyle brand on a mission to become a household name for authentic Korean food and culture.

From leading food retailers and museum shops to national distributors, trade shows and cultural events, we are building something much bigger than a food brand.

We are looking for a commercially curious, highly organised and proactive intern who wants to understand how an FMCG brand actually grows: winning retailers, developing accounts, activating products in store and turning consumer interest into sales.

This is a hands on learning role working closely with the Founder and wider team. You will combine practical work with mentoring, meetings, site visits and shadowing real commercial activity.

The Role

Position: Sales & Trade Marketing Intern
Location: London, hybrid
Hours: 20–25 hours per week, including hands on work, learning and shadowing
Duration: 10 weeks
Travel: Agreed work related travel expenses covered
Progression: Strong performers may be considered for future paid part time or full time opportunities as Miss Kim grows.

Your responsibility will increase throughout the internship as you learn the business and demonstrate good judgement and reliability.

What You’ll Do

Sales & Retail

  • Maintain our CRM, sales pipeline and retailer database accurately
  • Research and identify new retail opportunities
  • Support retailer applications, sales enquiries and buyer follow ups
  • Support relationships with existing independent retailers and stockists
  • Track leads, samples, orders and outstanding actions
  • Help prepare sales decks, product information and retailer materials
  • Shadow and participate in selected retailer, distributor and buyer meetings

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Commercial Learning & Systems

  • Visit warehouses, retailers and industry events where relevant
  • Identify missing information or gaps and suggest possible solutions
  • Use AI and digital tools intelligently to work efficiently without compromising accuracy

Confidence with Google Sheets or Excel is essential.
Experience with CRM systems, Shopify, e-commerce, retail or hospitality is useful but not required. We can teach you the tools.

What You’ll Gain

A significant part of the internship is learning by working alongside the Founder and team.
Your 20–25 hours will include a combination of practical projects, mentoring and shadowing real commercial activity.

Depending on the week, you could find yourself:

  • Sitting in on a retailer or distributor meeting
  • Learning how a sales opportunity progresses from first contact to an order
  • Visiting a warehouse or retailer
  • Supporting a trade show or sampling activation
  • Analysing why one product, retailer or activation performed differently from another
  • Learning how stock, margins, logistics and sales decisions connect
  • Seeing how decisions are made inside a fast growing founder led business

You’ll gain direct exposure to the realities of building an FMCG brand from the ground up, not simply one department of an established company.

For someone serious about a career in FMCG, sales, trade marketing, commercial roles or eventually building a business of their own, there is a lot to learn here.

Successful completion will include a strong reference, and outstanding interns will be considered first as paid opportunities develop within Miss Kim.
