About Us LoveWell is a charity whose vision is to empower women who have experienced significant trauma through trafficking and exploitation on their journey to employability and entrepreneurship. We create supportive pathways into employment for women who have experienced trafficking and exploitation. Our Mission is to deliver transformative training and mentoring, empowering women to recognise their transferable skills and support them to grow in confidence, increase their skills and abilities to move confidently into employment, education, and training, and build towards a positive future. We do this through our Live and Work Well employability programme and mentoring programme, supporting women who have experienced significant trauma through trafficking and exploitation to build skills and confidence for the workplace.
Role Description We are currently recruiting for a Sales and Volunteer Coordinator, who will be responsible for coordinating and managing all seasonal sales events and volunteers, reporting into the CEO of LoveWell, to drive an increase of 20% in traded income from October 2026 - January 2027.
The successful candidate will be confident and experienced in recruiting, training and supporting volunteers, with good sales acumen and drive and willing to be hands-on in a small but growing charity. They must be committed to LoveWell’s vision to empower women who have experienced trafficking and sexual exploitation into employment, training and further education, willing, eager to engage with our mission and have appreciation of a trauma-informed approach to empowering women to make changes in their lives.

This is a role with hours mostly out of normal office hours. It will be mostly weekend work, with some evenings expected. The candidate will need to own their own car and have a full driving licence.
Key Tasks
Our Sales and Volunteer Coordinator will play an instrumental role in increasing LoveWell’s traded income and effective volunteer support. They will work closely with the CEO, Operations lead and Production lead to ensure clear and effective management of our finances, resources and people. There are two key elements to the role, with good stakeholder management and communications central to all activities:
- Coordinate, staff, attend and manage all seasonal events for the organisation between October and January
- Ensure all events volunteers are trained, managed and supported - working with CEO and Ops role to coordinate this
- Working with CEO and Ops role to support with ongoing support, supervision, management of volunteers
- Ensuring all events volunteers are fully trained and equipped to drive sales and brand awareness at event
- Representing LoveWell as the external face of the brand at events
- Communication with staff and volunteers before, during and after all events
- All tasks relating to event preparation including pack-up, printing of marketing material, and any follow-up tasks post-event
- Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed
- Maintain accurate records and database for events and volunteers
- Support with wholesale or large order fulfilment, alongside Operations lead
- Liaise with Operations Lead and Production Lead on an ongoing basis regarding product units to manage supply line
- Build relationship with event organisers (including in preparation for future events)
- Collate data throughout period to present in a report at the close of holiday period and role
- Contribute to communications and marketing collateral, online marketing, such as social media posts, and any PR as required

Key Skills

Essential
- An excellent command of the English language - written and spoken
- Excellent communication skills - able to communicate with confidence and clarity to a range of stakeholders
- Strong digital skills and experience using I.T. packages (as a minimum: word, excel, e-mail, PowerPoint, Google docs, calendars etc.)
- Experience of working in a role where coordinating and supporting volunteers was part of the job.
- Understanding of the requirement for confidentiality
- Ability to sometimes work under pressure and creative at problem solving
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Strong administration and project management skills
- The ability to work flexibly to meet the demands of the service
- Confident working under own initiative, prioritise tasks to agreed timelines for themselves and others
- Able to work in the UK
- Ability to manage ambiguity and change
Desirable
- Any other further education certificate
- An understanding and network within the voluntary sector and employment community across Bristol
- Understanding of manufacturing processes for natural skincare products
- Experience of work in the charity sector
- Awareness of trauma-informed working
- Awareness of the issues faced by women from marginalised backgrounds
- Committed to ongoing development of themselves and the service
