Role Description
The Sales Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Carnforth, supporting the sales team in delivering excellent customer experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves:
- Processing orders
- Managing enquiries via phone and email
- Maintaining accurate records
- Coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries
This position works closely with colleagues across the business to provide responsive, helpful, and professional service at all times.
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to build positive relationships and provide a supportive experience.
- Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact clearly with customers, colleagues, and partners.
- Sales skills, including basic knowledge of sales processes and comfort in explaining product features and benefits.
- Organization Skills to manage enquiries, orders, documentation, and showroom presentation efficiently.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with email, spreadsheets, and order-entry or CRM systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling customer information, pricing, and product specifications.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to a busy, customer-focused setting.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales (ideally within flooring, interiors, or a related industry) is beneficial.
