Company Description First Dhaka Elevated Expressway Company Limited is the concessionaire for the Dhaka Elevated Expressway Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Project, the first initiative of its kind in Bangladesh under the Public-Private Partnership Authority of the Prime Minister’s Office. As a pioneering PPP infrastructure project, the company plays a key role in improving urban mobility and connectivity in Dhaka. The expressway has been operational since September 2, 2023, marking a significant milestone in the country’s PPP and transportation history. Team members have the opportunity to contribute to a landmark national project with long-term impact on city logistics and commuter experience.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Assistant role based in Dagenham. The Sales Assistant will support the sales team by handling customer inquiries, providing information about services, and maintaining positive relationships with clients and partners. Daily tasks include assisting with customer service at designated points of contact, preparing basic sales reports, updating records, and coordinating follow-up communications. The role also involves organizing sales documentation, supporting the preparation of presentations and proposals, and ensuring smooth internal communication between sales and operations. The Sales Assistant will collaborate closely with colleagues to meet sales targets, uphold service standards, and represent the company in a professional manner.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to support a positive client experience.
  • Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to handle inquiries, share information accurately, and coordinate with internal teams.
  • Candidates should possess Sales awareness and basic commercial understanding to assist the sales team in achieving targets.
  • Candidates should possess solid Organization Skills to manage documentation, schedules, and follow-up actions effectively.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office or similar productivity tools.
  • Ability to work on-site in Dagenham and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
  • Prior experience in sales support, retail, or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
  • Relevant education in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory with strong practical experience.
