About us
Imperius AI is the self-learning AI Work OS. Modern teams use it to deploy AI employees that run real work across core business functions: sales, marketing, support, websites, infrastructure, and talent. It connects to the systems teams already use, remembers everything it learns, and compounds performance with every session. We are two founders (Mehdi, CEO, and Maggie, COO) who met at Bayes Business School in London. We are early, we move fast, and we are building this because we believe people should spend their time on what they are great at.
About the event
We are running a one-day online hackathon for UK university students. The challenge is simple and genuinely ambitious: in a single day, each team builds a real, working business on Imperius AI. Not a slide deck. Not a mockup. A company with a live website, a customer pipeline, marketing running, and support handled, all powered by their own AI employees. It is also the entry point to something bigger. Every student who takes part gets one-to-one mentoring with world-class experts, AI certification, a place in our AI startup accelerator, and membership of an entrepreneurs community built to help them grow the business and the network they start that day. We need a small crew of students to help us make that day happen, and we are paying for the work.

Role 1: Campus Ambassador
You own getting the right people in the room. You will be the face of Imperius AI at your university and across your networks, bringing together the students who will actually turn up and build something.
What you will do
- Recruit participants from your university: societies, course groups, entrepreneurship and computing clubs, group chats, and your own network
- Build and manage a sign-up pipeline, and follow up so people actually show up on the day
- Feed back to us on what students respond to, so we get better at reaching them
- Represent Imperius AI honestly and well: you are our first impression on your campus
Role 2: Event Crew
You help the event run smoothly (2 hours only). Hackathons live or die on operations. You will be in the engine room, keeping teams unblocked and the schedule on track from kickoff to demos.
What you will do
- Help run the live event: welcome sessions, breakout rooms, timekeeping, announcements, demos, and judging logistics
- Be first-line support for participating teams: answer questions, unblock them on the platform, escalate anything you cannot solve
- Learn Imperius AI properly before the day (we will train you) so you can help teams deploy their first AI employees
- Capture what happens: notes, highlights, screenshots, and honest feedback on what broke and what worked
This suits you if
- You are a current UK university student (any subject, any year) with real reach on campus
- You are involved in a society, a course cohort, a student community, or you are simply the person everyone knows
- You are comfortable messaging people, asking for things, and following up without being asked twice
- You care about startups, AI, or building things, and you can explain why other people should care

What we are looking for in both roles
We care much more about attitude than credentials. Specifically:
- Initiative. We are two people. Nobody will be watching over your shoulder, and the best crew members will tell us what needs doing before we ask.
- Follow-through. Saying you will do something and then doing it is genuinely rare and enormously valuable to us.
- Warmth. Participants should feel supported, not managed. This is meant to be one of the best days of their term.
- Honesty. If something is not working, say so early. We would much rather hear it than discover it.
- You do not need to be technical. You do not need startup experience. You do need to be someone people are glad to have in the room.
