Entry Level Sales Assistant
Maidstone, Kent | Full-Time | Immediate Start Available
Looking to build on your customer-facing experience and take the next step in sales?
Talent Catch is recruiting on behalf of a growing Maidstone-based client for an Entry Level Sales Assistant to join their expanding team. This opportunity is ideal for someone with previous customer-facing experience who wants to develop further in sales, communication, and customer engagement.
Working across pop-up events, retail promotions, shopping centres, and branded activations, you'll represent recognised Energy and Telecoms campaigns and speak directly with customers through professional face-to-face conversations. You'll introduce relevant products and services, understand customer needs, and help create a positive experience from the first conversation through to sign-up.
What You'll Be Doing
- Representing Energy and Telecoms campaigns at events and promotional locations across Kent
- Engaging with customers through friendly, professional conversations
- Introducing products and services clearly and confidently
- Understanding customer needs and explaining suitable options
- Supporting customers through the registration or sign-up process accurately and professionally
- Delivering strong customer service while working towards individual and team goals
- Participating in ongoing training, coaching, and team development sessions

What We're Looking For
We're looking for individuals who have:
- Previous experience in sales, retail, customer service, hospitality, events, promotions, or another customer-facing environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly, confident, and professional approach
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- An interest in developing further within sales and customer engagement

Earnings & Benefits
- Total earnings from £2,133 per calendar month, made up of a base salary plus uncapped performance-based commission, subject to successful completion of a four-week probationary period
