GROOM FORMAL operates three stores located in Warrington, Liverpool, and Chester, serving diverse local communities. Team members work in a supportive retail environment focused on customer satisfaction and attention to detail.
Role Description
The Sales Assistant role at GROOM FORMAL is a full-time, on-site position based in the Chester store. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Welcoming customers
- Understanding their needs
- Guiding them in selecting wedding and formal suits and accessories
- Handling fittings
- Maintaining tidy and organized displays
- Managing stock on the shop floor
- Processing sales transactions accurately
- Answering customer inquiries in person and by phone
- Supporting store promotions
- Collaborating with the team to deliver a smooth and professional customer experience

Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to build positive, respectful relationships with a diverse clientele.
- Clear and confident communication skills to explain product options and assist clients in making informed choices.
- Sales skills and a customer-focused mindset to support store targets while ensuring a high level of service.
- Organization skills to manage multiple customer needs, maintain fitting areas, and keep stock and displays in good order.
- Attention to detail and an interest in formalwear, fashion, or retail is highly beneficial.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales is preferred but not strictly required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak wedding seasons, as needed.
