Humboldt Seafoods is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team in Lymington, Hampshire.

You will be fluent in German and/or French, both spoken and written, and help support our sales activities, maintain strong customer relationships and deliver excellent customer service. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer product enquiries in German and/or French.
  • Support the sales team in managing customer accounts and orders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Process orders, quotations and invoices accurately.
  • Follow up on leads and sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, including logistics and finance.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team.

Skills and Requirements

  • Fluency in German and/or French, both spoken and written.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • A positive, proactive and results-driven attitude.
  • Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
