An Italian artisanal footwear brand specialized in women’s ballet flats, positioned in the contemporary luxury segment. The brand serves a refined, international clientele with a strong appreciation for craftsmanship, design, and understated elegance.
With 12 boutiques across Italy and a fast-growing global e-commerce presence shipping worldwide, BallereTTe is expanding its international retail presence, having opened its new London boutique at 141 King’s Road in July.
We are currently recruiting:
Sales Assistant / Junior Sales Assistant
- Location: 141 King’s Road
- Contract: Contract type and level will be defined based on relevant experience. Permanent contract; part time or full time.
- Availability: Immediate availability required
- Compensation: Fixed salary package plus a variable bonus based on store sales performance
- Operations: Store operating 7 days a week, year-round, within UK legal opening hours

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Excellent English (additional languages highly valued)
- Strong communication skills, natural empathy, and ability to build long-term client loyalty
- Passion for luxury retail, footwear, and an elevated client experience
- Consultative sales approach with the ability to read customer needs and adapt accordingly
- Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple clients simultaneously during peak periods
- Highly organized, autonomous, and comfortable with solo shifts
- Strong alignment with brand values and aesthetic
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on store performance, KPIs, and turnover
- Motivation to work within a performance-based bonus structure
- We are looking for commercially driven, client-focused individuals who are passionate about building genuine customer relationships rather than purely transactional sales.

SALES ASSISTANT RESPONSABILITIES:
- Day-to-Day Operations: Handling daily boutique activities, store opening, and closing procedures
- Client Journey: Delivering an end-to-end client experience (welcome, fitting, styling, payment, packaging, and newsletter subscriptions)
- Inventory Control: Handling deliveries, quality checks, stock organization/replenishment across levels, and tagging
- Reporting & Cash Handling: Managing cash procedures and contributing to daily sales reporting
- Visual Merchandising: Maintaining and updating window and in-store displays
- CRM & Events: Managing the client database, supporting CRM communications, and assisting with store events
- Store Maintenance: Keeping the sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and presentable at all times
