Alchemy is excited to be partnering with a leading internationally established art gallery seeking a Sales Assistant & PA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • EA to a Senior Director, fulfilling both personal and administrative duties (e.g. calendar management, travel arrangements, insurance documents, inventory management)
  • Supporting the Director with communication and artist management of their roster of artists.
  • Assisting with sales offers, research, and writing proposals.
  • Co-ordinating shipping and overseeing project management of upcoming exhibitions both in the gallery and in museums.
  • General sales assistance: attending to clients’ queries.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an assistant at an established gallery or equivalent.
  • Ideally EA/PA experience to a sales director/senior leader.
  • Attention to detail with excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Capable of working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Passion for contemporary art.
  • Interest in artist management, sales, and project management.
  • Some knowledge of shipping, logistics, and customs.
  • Working knowledge of foreign languages is preferable.
