Role Description
This full-time, on-site Sales Assistant role is based at Baobab Collection’s London location. The Sales Assistant supports daily store operations, warmly welcomes customers, and provides knowledgeable guidance on products and collections.
Responsibilities
- Assisting customers throughout the purchasing process
- Maintaining visual merchandising standards
- Replenishing stock
- Ensuring the sales area is clean and well-organized
- Processing transactions accurately
- Handling customer inquiries and returns
- Supporting sales targets through proactive client engagement and upselling where appropriate

Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service abilities to create a welcoming, client-focused in-store experience.
- Clear and professional communication skills to engage customers, answer product questions, and collaborate with team members.
- Sales skills and a results-oriented mindset to support store targets through product knowledge, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Organization skills to manage multiple customer needs, maintain store presentation standards, and support inventory processes.
- Prior experience in retail, luxury goods, or a customer-facing environment is highly beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible hours (including weekends and holidays), and adapt to a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic numeracy for accurate transaction handling.
- Enthusiasm for design, home décor, and premium lifestyle products, with a willingness to learn about the Baobab Collection brand.
