Job Title: Sales Assistant/Driver

Dulux Decorator Centre, Southampton, SO15 1HG
Hours & Pay
- £13.18 per hour with a sales-based bonus
- 32 hours per week (working shifts between 7am–5pm (Mon-Fri) and 8am–12pm (occasional Saturdays))

Key Responsibilities
You will collaborate with in-store colleagues and the UK Sales Team to deliver outstanding customer service and enhance sales performance. Key tasks include:
- Engagement planning and active participation in monthly store meetings.
- Ensuring customers receive:
- A warm welcome,
- Informed conversational support,
- A personalised product proposal.
- Utilising client service tools for consistent customer experience delivery.
- Supporting the store’s customer contact plans.
- Following the merchandising plan to maintain stocked shop floors.
- Van loading and planning efficient delivery routes.
Additionally, you’ll:
- Develop your own skills and encourage colleagues to advance using training tools.
Requirements
You may apply if you meet even some of the following criteria:
- Proven experience in a customer service/retail role.
- Valid driver’s licence (driving duties are an integral part of the role).
- Experience in collaborative workplaces where teamwork is essential.
- Calm and composed under pressure.
