The Opportunity
We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Sales Associate to join our team onsite in Portsmouth. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys working with customers, managing commercial activity, maintaining accurate systems and building strong, long-term relationships.
You will play an important role in supporting the sales function by preparing quotations, managing pricing, maintaining Salesforce administration and ensuring customer commitments and service levels are consistently delivered, as well as:
- Prepare accurate and commercially competitive quotations for customers.
- Manage pricing activity, ensuring quotes are aligned with business requirements and commercial objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Act as a key point of contact for customer queries and sales-related activity.
- Manage and maintain Salesforce administration, ensuring data is accurate, up to date and effectively supports the sales process.
- Track and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring commitments are monitored and delivered on time.
- Work closely with internal teams to coordinate customer requirements and resolve issues effectively.
- Support the wider sales team with pipeline management, reporting and general commercial administration.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, customer experience and sales performance.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, organisation and attention to detail across all activities.

We are looking for someone who is:
- Commercially aware and confident working with pricing and quotations.
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident building professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, dependable and comfortable taking ownership of tasks.
- A strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
- Experienced in sales support, account management, customer service or a similar commercial environment.
