We are looking for a Sales Associate for a permanent, part-time (16 hours/week) in our Salomon Store in Covent Garden.

The Sales Associate role has the main purpose of delivering high-quality shopping experience by developing strong knowledge of Salomon products and understanding customer needs to provide personalized advice. Following Salomon Signature Service, this role involves supporting customers on the sales floor, recommending complementary products, using also in-store digital tools, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and VM guidelines while acting as a brand ambassador.
Main Tasks / Responsibilities:
- Welcome, assist, and engage customers by providing excellent experience for everyone who comes in, ensuring that clients' needs are understood and recommending suitable and complementary products.
- Build strong product expertise across collections (technical sports/sport-style).
- Act as a brand ambassador, embodying the Salomon values and customer service culture.
- Contribute to a team that is responsible for the store's success, achieving store sales targets and KPIs.
- Assure daily store operations: operating the cash register, as well as opening and closing it (if applicable), checking and replenishing stock, merchandising the store during the day, and contributing to brand visual standards.
- Support stock management, replenishment, and inventory activities.
- Ensure the sales floor is always maintained according to VM standards.
- Participate in staff training and store events as required.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the managerial team and HQ.

Qualifications
Profile:
- Strong customer focus with a proactive approach to sales.
- Experience working in the retail and/or outdoor industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with a flexible, dynamic attitude, thriving in collaborative environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and international setting.
- Proactive attitude towards understanding store KPIs and contributing to commercial performance.
- Genuine interest in learning about the brand, its products, and values.
- Native language and good level of English.
