Company Description

Workplace Scientifics is dedicated to helping organisations create safer working environments and reduce work-related ill health through intuitive occupational hygiene services. The company partners with clients across diverse industries, providing expert assessment and guidance on workplace exposure risks. A multidisciplinary team of occupational health and occupational hygiene professionals delivers services such as COSHH risk assessments, workplace air and noise monitoring, vibration assessments, ergonomics evaluations, and asbestos management surveys. Using approved scientific analysis and monitoring strategies, Workplace Scientifics helps clients measure and quantify risk while supporting a strong safety culture. The company also offers bespoke awareness training to improve organizational behavior and commitment to health and safety.

Role Description

This full-time hybrid Sales Associate role is based in the United Kingdom, with a mix of on-site client visits and some work from home. The Sales Associate will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build relationships with prospective and existing clients, and promote Workplace Scientifics’ occupational hygiene and risk assessment services. The role also involves:

  • Maintaining accurate records in the CRM system
  • Collaborating with technical teams to align solutions with client needs
  • Contributing to sales campaigns and marketing initiatives

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Meet sales targets
  • Represent the company professionally at meetings and events
  • Provide ongoing account management to ensure client satisfaction and retention

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for client engagement, presentation delivery, and relationship building.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple accounts.
  • Good commercial awareness and basic understanding of occupational health and occupational hygiene services (or willingness to learn).
  • Comfort with digital tools and CRM systems, and proficiency in standard office software.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
  • Prior experience in B2B sales, preferably in professional services, health and safety, or technical consulting, is beneficial.
  • Valid right to work in the United Kingdom and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
  • Relevant education in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is an advantage but not essential when supported by strong experience.
