Role Description
The Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Manchester, responsible for delivering an engaging and inclusive in-store experience. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Greeting customers
- Providing product recommendations
- Supporting styling decisions aligned with Garage’s brand
- Processing transactions
- Handling returns and exchanges
- Maintaining visual merchandising standards, including organizing displays and replenishing stock
- Keeping the store clean and welcoming
- Meeting sales goals
- Working collaboratively with team members and management to support promotions and store initiatives

The Sales Associate is expected to uphold company policies and contribute to a positive, respectful, and diverse work environment.
Qualifications
- Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage respectfully and effectively with a diverse range of shoppers.
- Sales and retail skills, including cash handling, point-of-sale operation, and comfort working with sales targets.
- Basic visual merchandising skills, with attention to detail in product presentation, signage, and store layout.
- Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks such as assisting customers, restocking, and maintaining store standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Collaborative mindset and reliability, with a willingness to learn and follow company policies and procedures.
- Previous retail or fashion experience is an asset but not required; a genuine interest in style and current trends is beneficial.
