About the Role

Our London office is looking for a driven and commercially astute professional with around two years' experience in a sales, who ideally started in compliance roles or BD roles in hedge funds or private equity. The candidate should be a self-starter and growth-focused with a strong understanding of technology in compliance or more generally in the financial industry. You will also work closely with Marketing and Product Management to ensure a joined-up commercial approach. The package includes a competitive base salary (depending on experience) plus commissions. After a qualifying period, there is an opportunity to benefit from group equity.

The chosen candidate will be prospecting clients across multiple jurisdictions, with the predominant focus currently being the UK, and US and assist the CEO and Sales colleagues. You will help own the full sales cycle creating leads, following up on existing relationships, and closing sales. Beyond this, you provide feedback to the business, working closely with the Product Management team to translate market needs into platform enhancements, and with Marketing to inform and sharpen campaigns with frontline insight.

Leo RegTech Limited is a firm offering compliance solutions via our regulatory technology platform, Leo. Therefore, the applicant will need to have an active interest in software and technology solutions, as well as the desire to work at a fast-paced RegTech company. The role has the potential to develop into a full Business Development (BD) position for the right candidate.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
