Village Jewellers is an independent, family-run jewellery business located in the well-known Huyton Village and Wigan. The shop is rooted in the local community and focuses on offering personal, friendly service to every customer. Village Jewellers specializes in quality pieces and aims to provide a welcoming, trustworthy environment for those purchasing or servicing jewelry. Team members benefit from working closely with experienced jewellers and building long-term relationships with returning customers.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role based in Wigan. The Sales Associate will greet customers, provide product information, and assist with selecting jewellery that fits their needs and budget. Daily tasks include:

The Sales Associate will work closely with the small team to deliver consistent, high-quality service and contribute to a positive shop atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Ability to deliver attentive, courteous customer service and build positive relationships with a diverse range of shoppers.
- Strong communication and listening skills, with the confidence to explain product features and guide customers through purchase decisions.
- Basic numeracy and accuracy for handling cash, card payments, and daily till reconciliation.
- Reliability and professionalism, including punctuality, integrity, and respect for store policies and security procedures.
- Attention to detail for presenting merchandise, identifying product issues, and keeping displays tidy and appealing.
- Willingness to learn about different types of jewellery, materials, and care requirements; prior retail or jewellery experience is an advantage.
- Comfort working on-site in a small team environment, including weekend and holiday shifts as required.
