Luxury Sales Associate - Harrods

Location: Harrods, London

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus commission

THE OPPORTUNITY

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Luxury Sales Associate to join a globally recognised Italian luxury footwear house, represented within one of London's most prestigious department stores, Harrods. Renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship, refined design, and timeless elegance, the brand has an established international presence and a reputation for creating sophisticated footwear for a discerning global clientele.

This is an excellent opportunity for a polished luxury retail professional to represent a prestigious Italian house, build meaningful client relationships, and further develop their career within an exceptional luxury retail environment.

THE ROLE

Working on the footwear floor at Harrods, the successful candidate will take ownership of the day-to-day running and presentation of the brand's dedicated space, while delivering a consistently elevated and highly personalised client experience.

You will be responsible for driving sales, developing a strong client book, and representing the brand to the highest standards, working closely with the wider Harrods and brand team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver an exceptional and personalised service to a discerning international clientele.
  • Represent a prestigious Italian luxury footwear house to the highest standards.
  • Drive sales through strong product knowledge, clienteling, and a commercially focused approach.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, encouraging repeat business and loyalty.
  • Take ownership of the presentation and daily standards of the brand's dedicated space.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the collections, products, craftsmanship, and brand heritage.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to develop new and existing client relationships.
  • Maintain accurate client records and follow up effectively to maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Support stock management, replenishment, and other operational requirements as needed.
  • Work closely with the Retail Supervisor and wider Harrods team to ensure the smooth running of the business.
  • Contribute towards achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets.
  • Uphold the exceptional service and presentation standards expected within a leading international luxury environment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Previous experience within luxury retail, ideally across footwear, fashion, or accessories.
  • A proven track record of delivering strong sales performance within a luxury environment.
  • Genuine experience in clienteling and developing long-term customer relationships.
  • Polished, confident, and professional with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working with high-profile, UHNW, and international clientele.
  • Strong commercial awareness with a proactive approach to achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to maintain consistently high standards.
  • Able to work independently and take ownership while contributing positively to a wider team.
  • A genuine passion for luxury fashion, footwear, and exceptional customer service.

DESIRABLE

  • Previous experience working within Harrods or another leading luxury department store.
  • An established client book or demonstrated ability to develop a loyal client base.
  • Additional language skills would be advantageous given the international nature of the clientele.
