Sales Associate (m/f/x) – Strategic Sales Role for Life Science Professionals with First Sales Experience

How You’ll Add Value

You will drive sales activities in your territory, build lasting relationships with academic and biotech clients, and contribute directly to revenue growth. You’ll work closely with senior sales leaders and take ownership of your accounts from day one.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies with guidance from your manager
  • Independently manage sales cycles in academic and biotech environments
  • Organize and lead client-facing events (e.g. vendor shows, lunch & learns)
  • Generate qualified leads through proactive outreach and strategic networking
  • Handle incoming inquiries and follow up with prospects professionally
  • Use CRM systems to manage customer data and project information
  • Prepare territory reports and support account planning
  • Qualify marketing leads from campaigns and events
  • Collaborate with field reps and contribute to cross-functional sales initiatives

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a life science-related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in biotech, lab services, or academic supply
  • Solid understanding of molecular biology and lab workflows
  • Proven success in lead generation and client acquisition
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in customer interactions
  • Willingness to travel 3–5 days/month for client visits and events
