THE ROLE
For our store at Regent Street, we are recruiting for part-time Sales Associates (16 hrs and able to flex up). Sales Associates provide excellent and friendly service by assessing the needs of the customer and assisting. Associates in this position know how to greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer. Sales Associates work in cooperation with their Store Manager and other associates to ensure customers’ needs are met. Each associate has the responsibility of providing a safe working and shopping environment.

Customer satisfaction

Product knowledge
- Involves an outstanding knowledge of the product reflecting on the quality of the service provided.
- Excellent knowledge of the trends and fabrics (composition, terminology, garment care, styles etc.).
- Maximizes the potential of the product to create sales.
Drive sales
- Involves a good knowledge of the business that will provide growth in sales.
- Gives feedback to Store Manager about what is selling.
- Builds a regular client base.
- Is aware of the best and slow sellers to improve general sales.
Visual Merchandising
- Reporting to the Store Manager with guidance and direction given by HQ VM to support the visual merchandising activities within the dedicated store and appointed locations.
- Provides hands-on support for store VM activities as required (dedicated window launches, events & product launches).
- Executes/ ensures shop-floor and window VM as well as VM training following VM guidelines and direction given by HQ VM and Store Manager.
- Supports the instore & window rotation of VM tools following the direction given by HQ VM.
- Feedbacks HQ team by providing regular VM reports.
- Works closely with Area VM to coordinate visit/ activity schedule (VM visit calendar, visit preparation, follow up and maintenance).
- Store opening VM support & store visits on a pre-defined and approved base.
Profile
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive Retail experience in a luxury/contemporary brand.
- Extensive experience and ability to lead the delivery of a high level of customer service in a Brand Retailer.
- Communicates honestly, openly, and constructively.
- Contributes to an inclusive culture of diverse styles and talents working toward a clear purpose.
- Demonstrates flexibility and innovation in recognizing and reacting to the changing business environment.
- Loves working with international clients.
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
