About the job

Location: London – Soho Flagship Boutique

MACHINE-A is a leading multi-brand fashion boutique renowned for curating cutting-edge contemporary and luxury designers. With a flagship and Office in Soho, and a growing global online presence, we are at the forefront of progressive fashion retail. As we enter our busiest season, we are seeking a motivated, client-focused Full-Time Sales Associate to join our London flagship team.

Outstanding performers may be offered a permanent position after the initial period.

About the Role

You will play a key role in producing an exceptional client experience while driving strong sales performance. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced luxury retail environment and is passionate about building lasting client relationships. Understanding the business and delivering success, you will have an opportunity to become an influential voice.

Who You Are

A confident and driven sales professional with strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for fashion, and background in clienteling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve individual and team objectives, including sales targets and store tasks, being accountable towards results.
  • Deliver exceptional, personalized service aligned with MACHINE-A’s standards, becoming a knowledgeable brand ambassador for our products and services.
  • Collaborative team member, participating in team activities and events.
  • Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain a high-value client book, including international and VIP clients. Specialising in, in store and virtual appointments.
  • An expert in client engagement, providing styling advice, including in-depth brand and product knowledge.
  • Maintain impeccable visual merchandising and store presentation.
  • Support efficient stock management, including deliveries, replenishment, and back-of-house organization, maintaining a clear understanding of stockroom layout.
  • Organisational skills in effective time management.
  • Ability to deliver commercial feedback.
  • Collaborative team member, participating in team activities and events.
  • Adapt across all social media platforms.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of clienteling experience in luxury or high-end fashion retail (ready-to-wear or avant-garde preferred).
  • Fluent in English (an additional language is beneficial)
  • Reliable, organized, and able to perform under pressure.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding ambitious sales goals.
  • A strong existing client book is highly desirable; otherwise, the ability to develop one quickly.
  • Comfortable with social media exposure.
