Retail Sales Associate

About the Role
We are looking for a confident, friendly, and sales-driven Retail Sales Associate to manage our retail shelf and gifting area on the floor.
The ideal candidate will be a natural communicator who enjoys interacting with customers, understands their needs, and can confidently recommend products, gift boxes, and hampers. You will play an important role in creating a premium customer experience while driving retail and gifting sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers across the retail and gifting area.
- Proactively approach customers and understand their requirements.
- Recommend products based on occasion, preferences, and budget.
- Drive sales of retail products, gift boxes, and hampers.
- Confidently sell and upsell gifting options, including premium and customized hampers.
- Create attractive product combinations and gifting solutions.
- Meet daily and monthly sales targets.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of products, flavors, pricing, and gifting options.
- Maintain and organize retail shelves and gifting displays.
- Ensure products are attractively presented and fully stocked.
- Refresh displays for seasonal occasions, festivals, and new launches.
- Ensure pricing, signage, and promotional communication are accurate and well presented.
- Handle customer enquiries and convert gifting enquiries into sales.
- Build relationships with customers and encourage repeat purchases.
- Maintain a professional, warm, and premium customer experience at all times.

The Ideal Candidate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Naturally confident, outgoing, and comfortable speaking to customers.
- Strong sales and persuasion skills.
- Previous experience in retail, sales, hospitality, gifting, or customer service is preferred.
- Comfortable approaching customers and initiating conversations.
- Strong ability to upsell and cross-sell.
- Target-oriented and commercially minded.
- Good understanding of customer needs and buying behavior.
- An eye for presentation and visual merchandising.
- Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Professional, well-presented, and enthusiastic.
- Passionate about food, gifting, and creating great customer experiences.
