Are you a salesperson who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves working with customers?
If so, we want you to join our team as a ‘Skechers Sales Associate’ As a Sales Associate at our Skechers Flagship store in the Trafford Centre, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving sales and supporting the team in achieving store targets.
We are looking for confident, energetic individuals who enjoy engaging with customers, building rapport, and providing personalised service. As a brand ambassador, you will be passionate about our products and committed to creating a welcoming and positive shopping experience for every customer.
Our store trades Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 10:00pm, Saturday from 10:00am to 9:00pm, and Sunday from 12:00pm to 6:00pm. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across these trading hours is essential. Typical shifts are between 6 and 8 hours, including evenings, weekends, and peak trading periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service and create memorable shopping experiences.
- Proactively approach and engage customers, identifying their needs and providing tailored product recommendations.
- Drive sales through strong product knowledge, upselling, and add-on selling opportunities.
- Consistently work towards achieving individual and store sales targets.
- Maximise every customer interaction to increase sales and enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain excellent standards of store presentation, merchandising, and housekeeping.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Support stock replenishment and ensure products are readily available for customers.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive, high-performing team environment.

What We're Looking For
- Previous retail or customer-facing experience is desirable.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Confidence in approaching customers and initiating conversations.
- A proactive and results-driven approach to sales.
- Experience or confidence in upselling and add-on selling.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work 5–8 hour shifts, including evenings and weekends.
