Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sales Development: Identify, qualify, and support the acquisition of new customer accounts, with a primary focus on the US market and selected opportunities in other international territories.
- Client Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients, developing a strong understanding of their scientific and commercial needs and communicating the value of Sequential’s services and platforms.
- Market and Territory Research: Conduct ongoing research into target accounts, industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities, particularly within the US personal care, biotechnology, and life sciences sectors.
- CRM and Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and timely records in HubSpot, including prospect activity, opportunities, next steps, pipeline progression, and relevant sales metrics.
- Sales Target Achievement: Work towards defined individual and team sales targets, supporting Sequential’s revenue goals and international growth ambitions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
