About The
The Keller Market House is an indoor, year round marketplace for local foods and artisan goods, located in downtown Lancaster. We are operated by a non profit organization whose mission is to champion the production and accessibility of local foods and products for the enrichment of our community.
Overview
Become an integral part of our work putting ‘Real Food Within Reach’ for our community. We are seeking a team member who will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and assisting with daily operations of the market house. The successful candidate will be passionate about our mission and focused on community building. Reports to the Market Manager & Executive Director.
Starting date ASAP. Position open until filled.

Responsibilities
- Provide consistently friendly and timely service to customers, vendors and guests
- Articulate our organizational mission fluently
- Adhere to cleaning and public health protocols
- Able to perform repetitive tasks as well as standing, moving, lifting, carrying and stocking products
- Operate point of sale and inventory software quickly and accurately
- Perform general storekeeping tasks including cleaning, stocking and merchandising
- Build strong relationships with customers
Qualifications
- Commitment to our mission
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to master point of sale computer software
- Forward thinking, displays initiative
- Passionate about local food and building community
- Retail experience preferred, but not required

Hours
12 - 16 hours/week Fridays & Saturdays required
Compensation
Starting at $15/hour
