Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Sales Business Development professional. The role involves:

  • Identifying and qualifying new business opportunities
  • Building and maintaining a strong pipeline
  • Conducting outreach to prospective clients through calls, emails, social channels, and virtual meetings
  • Collaborating with marketing and technical teams to develop tailored proposals, demos, and presentations that clearly communicate BC4’s retail ERP and commerce solutions

  • Performing market and account research
  • Nurturing relationships with key decision-makers
  • Tracking progress in CRM systems

The role also requires working closely with existing customers and partners to uncover upsell and cross-sell opportunities and contributing to sales forecasts and strategic planning.

Qualifications

  • Strong Lead Generation and Market Research skills to identify, qualify, and prioritize new business opportunities
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build relationships, manage client expectations, and support long-term partnerships
  • Solid Analytical Skills to interpret market trends, evaluate customer needs, and inform sales strategies and forecasts
  • Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in software, ERP, retail technology, or related fields
  • Comfort working in a remote environment, with effective time management and self-directed work habits
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and common productivity software (e.g., Microsoft 365)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Ability to collaborate across sales, marketing, and technical teams and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
