Role Description
Sona Foods is looking for an experienced, network-driven Business Development Manager to drive new business growth and strengthen client relationships across the food, hospitality, and food service sectors. This is a performance-based role—your earnings and progression are directly tied to results delivered.
What you'll do:
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the Indian/ ethnic food, hospitality, and food service sectors
- Leverage your own existing, verifiable relationships and contacts to generate revenue quickly
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
- Build and develop client relationships to support long-term growth
- Deliver against agreed revenue targets and KPIs, reviewed regularly with the founder

What we're looking for:
- A minimum of 5 years senior sales or business development experience with a verifiable track record at named, recognised companies within food, hospitality, or food service—candidates will be asked to provide references and specifics of deals closed
- A demonstrated history of consistently hitting or exceeding sales targets
- An active, current network of relevant industry contacts you can demonstrably bring to the table
- A working understanding of operations within food/hospitality businesses—supply chain, fulfilment, or service delivery—enough to sell credibly and set realistic expectations with clients
- Comfortable being measured and rewarded primarily on results, not tenure
- Right to work in the UK (documentation required at offer stage)
