Role Description
This is a commission-based, contract role for a Sales & Business Development Associate, based remotely in the UK. The associate will identify and qualify new business opportunities, conduct market research to understand client needs, and generate leads across target sectors. Day-to-day activities include reaching out to prospective clients via calls, emails, and online meetings, preparing and delivering compelling presentations, and supporting the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals in collaboration with the wider team. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of outreach and pipeline activities, providing feedback on market trends, and aligning sales efforts with Emcita’s service offerings and growth strategy. The position is fully remote, requiring proactive communication, self-management, and a results-driven mindset.

What You'll Do
- Identify and reach out to potential UK clients who need software, web development, cloud, mobile app development, digital transformation services, or any of our 17 service lines.
- Pitch Emcita's service offerings and match client needs to the right practice area.
- Manage the sales conversation from first contact to signed contract.
- Work directly with Emcita's founder to structure proposals and pricing.
Qualifications
- Strong UK business network and comfort reaching out to decision-makers
- Candidates should possess strong Presentation Skills and experience creating clear, persuasive Presentations for diverse audiences.
- Candidates should possess Lead Generation abilities, including prospecting, outreach, and nurturing potential clients through the sales funnel.
- Candidates should possess Market Research skills to analyze industries, identify opportunities, and understand customer pain points and competition.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport and handle client objections professionally.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management in technology, software, or digital services is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working in a commission-based, contract environment, with a focus on measurable results and revenue generation.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, online meeting platforms, and digital collaboration tools is an advantage.
- A background in business, marketing, technology, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent practical experience is also valued.

Compensation
Commission-based, tiered by deal size, with no cap on earnings. Paid via Wise, Payoneer, or bank transfer. Full structure shared during interview.
