Sales & Business Development Executive in Customer Service and Support
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our UK Sales & Business Development team for a Sales & Business Development Executive specializing in Customer Service and Support. This role offers a unique chance to gain experience in a pivotal business-winning area, working within a dynamic team during a thrilling phase for the company!
Salary
Up to £80,000, depending on experience
Dynamic (Hybrid) Working
Typically, 2 to 3 days per week on-site (or with customers), due to workload classification
Security Clearance
- British Citizen
- Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. Successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The Opportunity
This role is central to our efforts to secure new business within Customer Services and Support for MBDA in the UK. You will gain a deep insight into the UK customer environment, form a wide network across multiple teams and functions in MBDA, and directly contribute to the success of MBDA through leadership of sales and business development campaigns.
You will:
- Secure Order Intake in line with the Business Plan (ISBP)
- Develop and direct business-winning campaigns in a new and changing customer and industrial environment
- Establish effective partnering relationships with UK MoD customers and with industrial partners and the supply chain
- Collaborate with customers and industrial partners to find mutually beneficial solutions through negotiation
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, we require the following qualifications and experience:
- A high degree of self-motivation and drive, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and presentation skills, along with the ability to develop positive relationships within MBDA and with external partners
- Extensive knowledge and experience of missile systems business and industry
- Good understanding and experience of dealing with the UK Customer community, organization, and processes
- Broad and in-depth business, technical, commercial background and experience
- Proven business-winning skills
