Job Specification – New Business Sales Executive (Cyber Security)
New Business Sales Executive
Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week in our Bradford office, 3 days working from home
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious and driven New Business Sales Executive to join a growing cyber security business. This is a proactive sales role focused on identifying, engaging, and converting new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be confident in generating their own pipeline through outbound prospecting, cold calling, and lead generation. They will be comfortable speaking with decision-makers, understanding customer challenges, and introducing cyber security solutions that add real business value.
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated sales professional who thrives on winning new business and enjoys working in a fast-paced technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound sales activity.
- Conduct high volumes of cold calls to prospective customers.
- Research target markets and identify potential clients.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Qualify leads and arrange meetings with prospective customers.
- Book in Demos (paid per demo booked).
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers across multiple industries.
- Present the company's cyber security solutions in a professional and consultative manner.
- Manage the sales process from initial contact through to closing new business.
- Maintain accurate records within the CRM system.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Work closely with technical and account management teams to ensure a smooth customer onboarding experience.
- Keep up to date with cyber security trends, market developments, and competitor activity.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a new business sales role.
- Demonstrable success in cold calling and outbound lead generation.
- Experience building and managing a sales pipeline from scratch.
- Strong business development and prospecting skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Confident speaking with senior decision-makers.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Highly organised with strong time management skills.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- A resilient, target-driven attitude with a passion for winning new business.

Desirable Experience
- Experience selling cyber security, IT managed services, or technology solutions.
- Knowledge of cyber security products and services.
- Experience in a B2B technology sales environment.
- Understanding of consultative or solution-based selling methodologies.
