Role Description

This full-time hybrid role as a Sales Business Development Manager is responsible for generating 100% new business in an established sales channel that is new for the business. Day-to-day activities include identifying and qualifying prospects, conducting outreach via calls, emails, virtual and in-person meetings, and presenting tailored solutions that align with client needs. The role involves preparing proposals and quotes, negotiating terms, and closing deals to meet revenue and growth targets. The Sales Business Development Manager will collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, accurate order fulfillment, and high levels of client satisfaction. Ongoing responsibilities also include tracking sales performance, maintaining CRM records, and providing market feedback to support product and service improvements.

  • Demonstrated experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally within apparel, e-commerce, print-on-demand, or related industries.
  • Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management, with the ability to prioritize opportunities and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships with diverse clients.
  • Comfort with remote work tools, CRM systems, and basic data analysis to track performance and inform decisions.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid environment.
  • Understanding of online retail, branding, or merchandising processes is beneficial.
  • Sales within the educational sector, schools, Universities, and school travel companies is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience is an advantage but not a guarantee.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented company and a proactive, results-focused mindset.
