Job Title: Sales & Business Development Manager – Europe (Lubricants)

Your New Salary: £35K-40K
Location: London, The City
Permanent/ Full-time
Hybrid

What You'll be Doing:

  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies across European markets.
  • Add new markets.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, distributors, and strategic partnerships.
  • Manage and support existing distributors, importers, and key accounts.
  • Drive annual sales targets, profitability, and market share growth.
  • Lead some internal projects to grow the business and improve operations.
  • Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and pricing reviews.
  • Prepare business plans, forecasts, and budget proposals.
  • Make presentations and trainings to customers.
  • Coordinate product launches, promotional activities, and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with technical, supply chain, and headquarters teams to support customer requirements.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and distribution contracts.
  • Attend trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events across Europe.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and industry developments.

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Qualifications: Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: Practical experience or knowledge in the lubricants, automotive aftermarket, oil & gas, or related industry, with the ability to apply relevant industry knowledge effectively.
  • Track Record: Proven track record in sales management and business development across multiple European markets.
  • Understanding: Strong understanding automotive aftermarket channels, and distribution networks.
  • Experience: Experience managing distributors, importers, and key accounts.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent commercial, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Strong analytical and strategic planning capability.
    • Ability to travel extensively within Europe.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
    • Fluent in English, additional European languages would be advantageous.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Communication and presentation skills
    • Experience within international lubricant brands.
    • Knowledge of passenger car, commercial vehicle, industrial, and specialty lubricant markets.
    • Experience working in multicultural and multinational environments
    • Analytical skills
