Role Description
The Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) Hunter is a full-time, outbound-focused, on-site role, based in Gateshead. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing clients, and promoting TSP Fulfilment’s Order Fulfilment and onward shipping services. Day-to-day activities include prospecting, conducting sales meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating commercial terms. The role involves collaborating with operations and account management teams to ensure service offerings are aligned with client needs, tracking sales performance, and reporting pipeline progress. The Sales Business Development Manager will also contribute to sales planning, market analysis, and targeted outreach campaigns to drive sustainable revenue growth.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in business development, B2B sales, and account management, with experience generating and closing new opportunities.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management, including stakeholder engagement, consultative selling, and building long-term partnerships.
- Understanding of warehousing, fulfilment, logistics, or supply chain operations, with the ability to translate service capabilities into client solutions.
- Competence in using CRM systems, sales reporting tools, and basic data analysis to manage pipeline and track performance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
- Organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple leads, proposals, and follow-ups effectively.
- Prior experience in a similar sales or business development role, ideally within logistics, distribution, or related sectors.
- Comfort working on-site in Gateshead and collaborating closely with internal teams across operations and customer service.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented approach, with resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Relevant qualification in business, sales, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
