About the Role
Are you looking to start your career in sales, business development, and marketing while contributing to an exciting infrastructure business in Wales?
We’re looking for a Sales, Business Development & Marketing Assistant to join the commercial team at ffeibr. This is a varied opportunity where you’ll gain hands-on experience across sales, marketing, business development, digital activity, and events, while supporting projects that help grow ffeibr’s commercial reach.
About ffeibr
ffeibr is Wales’ newest infrastructure company, delivering a high-capacity, full-fibre network built alongside the Core Valley Lines rail electrification. As part of Transport for Wales, ffeibr is helping improve digital connectivity, including in some of Wales’ hardest-to-reach communities, while supporting regional growth and prosperity.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll work across a variety of commercial activities and projects, including:
- Researching and identifying prospective customers and new sales opportunities.
- Supporting market analysis, lead generation, and business development activity.
- Maintaining the sales pipeline and CRM system, ensuring customer and sales information remains accurate.
- Supporting the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns.
- Helping coordinate conferences, sponsorships, roundtables, and industry events.
- Working with external marketing, PR, social media, advertising, and design partners.
- Supporting ffeibr’s website and wider digital presence.
- Monitoring the progress and performance of marketing activities.
- Building relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
- Representing ffeibr at networking opportunities and external events.

About you
We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised, and keen to develop a career within a commercial environment. Experience within sales, marketing, business development, or a customer-focused environment would be an advantage, as would exposure to CRM systems, events, campaigns, or stakeholder engagement. An interest in Wales’ economic, political, and infrastructure landscape and Welsh language skills, or a willingness to learn Welsh, would also be welcomed.
