Overview
Park Holidays UK, one of the largest holiday park operators in England, Scotland, and Wales, is seeking a dedicated Holiday Home Sales Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure the cleanliness and presentation of our holiday homes, providing a welcoming and safe environment for potential buyers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an eye for detail and a passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Job Duties
- Clean accommodation units as per the cleaner's worksheet and ensure they are in top condition for presentation. Re-clean units as requested by the Accommodation Manager or checkers.
- Ensure all lost property found in accommodation is handed in to the accommodation office and logged in the lost property book.
- Collect and return all cleaning materials to the appropriate location and maintain their condition.
- Ensure the security and safety of all company property while performing duties.
- Dispose of all rubbish from accommodation by bagging it and placing it in the designated rubbish skips.
- Be flexible and assist the maintenance team as required, providing support for other tasks.
- Conduct full checks on smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms, ensuring they are functioning properly. Complete all required record sheets fully and accurately.
- Carry out visual safety checks and report any necessary repairs to the line manager.
- Inspect steps and pathways leading to the accommodation units and report any potential hazards to the line manager.
- Ensure only company-provided cleaning materials are used and that all cleaning procedures follow COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations.
- Thoroughly clean areas often overlooked, such as under beds and inside wardrobes, to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.

Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work to a high standard.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays as needed.
- Positive attitude.
