The Opportunity

Confidential is seeking a commercially sharp Sales Closer to secure sell-side M&A advisory engagements with owners of middle market companies. You will step into qualified inbound opportunities, diagnose what matters most to each owner, and lead the conversation toward a confident decision.

This role sits at the intersection of business development and strategic advisory. You will represent the firm’s capabilities, protect the quality of the client experience, and ensure that every signed client enters execution with clear expectations and strong internal alignment.

What You Will Do

• Take ownership of qualified inbound opportunities from introduction through close.
• Run insightful discovery that surfaces strategic goals, financial expectations, and decision dynamics.
• Position the firm’s experience, process, and differentiated approach to middle market M&A.
• Create momentum through decisive next steps, tailored follow-up, and consistent communication.
• Resolve concerns related to timing, fees, valuation, confidentiality, and the advisory process.
• Secure executed engagement letters from appropriate, transaction-ready clients.
• Manage CRM hygiene, pipeline visibility, forecasting, and conversion reporting.
• Work closely with senior bankers to transition relationships and share relevant context.
