About LevelMeUp

LevelMeUp is building a maths game designed to make children want to practise maths.

Children master mathematics through consistent practice, but that practice can be repetitive, difficult to personalise and hard to sustain. Teachers also have limited time to provide every pupil with individualised reinforcement.

LevelMeUp turns that practice into an adventure.

Instead of simply completing worksheets, pupils explore magical worlds, battle monsters, unlock heroes and practise arithmetic—with every correct answer powering the game.

The platform combines adaptive questioning with a teacher dashboard that gives schools visibility into pupil performance. Our initial content covers Years 1 and 2 and is aligned with the National Curriculum for England.

We're now looking for a commercially driven Sales Co-Founder to help take LevelMeUp into UK primary schools.

The Opportunity

This isn't a traditional sales job.

We're looking for someone who wants to build the commercial side of an EdTech company from the ground up.

You'll work directly with the founding team to develop our UK B2B go-to-market strategy, secure our first school pilots, convert successful pilots into paying customers and eventually build a repeatable sales engine capable of reaching schools and Multi-Academy Trusts across the country.

Our initial proposition is deliberately simple: give schools the opportunity to trial LevelMeUp through a one-month free pilot with no obligation to continue.

Your job is to get LevelMeUp in front of the right people.

What You'll Do

  • Build and execute our UK primary-school sales strategy.
  • Prospect and develop relationships with headteachers, maths leads, curriculum leads and MAT decision-makers.
  • Secure pilot programmes with primary schools.
  • Run product demonstrations and sales meetings.
  • Develop outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn, phone and in-person outreach.
  • Attend relevant education events and build relationships within the UK primary education ecosystem.
  • Work closely with schools during pilots to understand adoption, objections and purchasing behaviour.
  • Convert successful pilots into annual school and trust licences.
  • Develop our pricing, positioning, sales collateral and commercial proposition based on real customer feedback.
  • Build and manage the sales pipeline and establish the foundations of our CRM and sales processes.
  • Identify opportunities for school clusters, MAT partnerships and larger strategic contracts.
  • Feed customer insights directly into the product roadmap.
  • Eventually recruit and lead the wider commercial/sales organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Who We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in people who have experience in one or more of:

  • EdTech sales
  • SaaS sales
  • Selling into UK schools
  • Education partnerships
  • Business development
  • Early-stage startup sales

You should be someone who:

  • Is comfortable selling a product before there's a large established brand behind it.
  • Can confidently speak with headteachers and senior education leaders.
  • Understands that early-stage sales means testing, learning and iterating—not simply following an existing playbook.
  • Is willing to prospect aggressively and build relationships from zero.
  • Can turn product demonstrations into pilots and pilots into customers.
  • Thinks strategically about distribution as well as individual sales.
  • Is comfortable working directly with founders and influencing company strategy.
  • Has the ambition to build a significant company rather than simply hold a sales position.
  • Existing relationships with UK primary schools, MATs or education leaders would be a major advantage.

What Success Looks Like

Initially, success means getting LevelMeUp into schools.

Then proving that pupils use it, teachers value it and schools are willing to pay for it.

From there, the objective is to develop a repeatable model:

  • Outreach
  • Demo
  • Free Pilot
  • Evidence
  • Conversion
  • Expansion

Ultimately, you'll help answer one of the most important questions for the company:

How do we take LevelMeUp from our first schools to thousands of UK primary schools?

Why Join Now?

LevelMeUp already has a working product proposition, adaptive maths practice, a teacher-facing platform and Years 1–2 curriculum-aligned content.

What we need now is commercial execution.

Joining at this stage means you're not coming in to manage an established sales function.

You're coming in to build it.

The right person will have meaningful influence over our go-to-market strategy, pricing, positioning, partnerships and ultimately the direction of the company.

Compensation

This is currently an equity-only co-founder position.

There is no salary at this stage.

We're therefore looking for someone who genuinely wants to become a co-founder and build long-term value in the business—not someone looking for a conventional salaried sales role.

The exact equity package would be discussed based on experience, commitment, responsibilities and long-term involvement.

Interested?

If you've sold into UK schools—or you understand the education market and believe you can build the commercial engine behind an ambitious primary maths product—we'd love to speak with you.
