Sales Co-ordinator at SIG Roofing

We are looking for a motivated Sales Co-ordinator to join our team, to be the friendly, knowledgeable first point of contact for our customers—building relationships, processing orders, and helping the branch meet its sales targets

As a Sales Coordinator, you’ll work closely with the Branch Manager and wider team to deliver excellent service and drive branch performance. You’ll handle customer enquiries, manage accounts, and promote our full range of products both over the phone and face-to-face

  • Engaging with customers on the phone, via email, and at the trade counter
  • Accurately processing orders and providing clear, competitive quotes
  • Maximising every sales opportunity, including up-selling and cross-selling
  • Proactively contacting lapsed or prospective customers
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key accounts
  • Collaborating with warehouse and external sales teams to ensure smooth deliveries
  • Actively contributing to a safe, positive working environment

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service role (merchanting or construction industry experience is a bonus)
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
  • Good IT and numeracy skills, with attention to detail in processing orders
  • Ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn
