Coaching: learn from people who've done it
You'll be paired with an experienced team member for regular one-to-one mentoring, so you're never working things out alone. Expect structured onboarding from day one, then ongoing coaching on how to open conversations, handle objections, close, and read what a client actually needs. Like any good coach, they'll watch how you perform, give you honest feedback, and help you set targets that stretch you. Your progression is tied to published criteria, so you always know what to work on next.
Networking: share a room with people further along
Team events and conferences put you in front of experienced professionals and senior industry figures. You'll hear how they built their careers, ask questions, and start building relationships of your own. Your sporting background helps here: you already know how to walk into a room, read the dynamics, and earn respect through how you carry yourself.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
