Sales & Commercial Leader – EMEA

UK or Europe | Remote-first | London access

Six-Figure Base + Significant Bonus

Enterprise Shopify | eCommerce | Digital Experience | EMEA Growth

This isn't just another senior sales role. It's an opportunity to build something. We're representing one of the most ambitious international businesses in the Shopify and digital commerce ecosystem – an established, highly regarded commerce specialist with exceptional technical, creative and strategic capability.

They already have the platform. They already have the delivery capability. They already work with major brands.

Now they want an exceptional Sales & Commercial Leader to take ownership of the next stage of growth across EMEA. And for the right person, this is a rare opportunity to build and shape a commercial function around you.

The Opportunity

You'll take a senior leadership position at the heart of the company's EMEA growth strategy. Your mandate is simple:

  • Create relationships.
  • Open markets.
  • Win ambitious brands.
  • Build significant commercial partnerships.
  • Create the sales engine capable of supporting the next stage of growth.

Initially, you'll be close to the action.

You'll build relationships with CMOs, Chief Digital Officers, eCommerce Directors, CEOs, Founders and other senior decision-makers at some of the most exciting consumer brands across the UK and Europe.

You'll identify opportunities, lead senior conversations, shape propositions, navigate complex buying processes and turn conversations into substantial commercial relationships. But this isn't simply about carrying a target.

Over time, you'll have the opportunity to shape the commercial strategy, build the team, develop the go-to-market approach and create a high-performing sales function across EMEA. It's a chance to leave your fingerprints on the business.

You'll Have Serious Capability Behind You

You're not being asked to sell something the business can't deliver. You'll have specialists across commerce strategy, UX, design, engineering and technology around you – giving you the credibility and capability to solve genuinely complex commerce challenges.

That could mean:

  • Enterprise Shopify and Shopify Plus transformations
  • Major replatforming and migration programmes
  • Digital experience redesigns
  • International commerce expansion
  • Complex technology and systems integrations
  • Conversion and optimisation programmes
  • Long-term strategic commerce partnerships

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll be able to walk into an executive conversation, understand the commercial challenge and bring together the right people to solve it.

This Is Sales Leadership With Commercial Depth

We're looking for someone who understands that great enterprise sales is about far more than pipeline management.

You'll understand commercial models, margin, pricing, proposition development, negotiation, forecasting and account economics.

You'll know when to pursue an opportunity – and when not to.

You'll understand how to construct deals that work for the client and the business. And you'll be capable of balancing immediate revenue opportunities with the bigger task of building a sustainable EMEA growth engine.

You'll own the journey from first conversation through to signed agreement, while remaining close enough to strategic clients to identify what comes next.

Then You'll Build

This is where the opportunity becomes particularly exciting. You're not walking into a huge established European sales organisation where everything has already been decided.

You'll have the opportunity to help determine what great looks like. The markets to prioritise. The propositions to take to market. The partnerships to develop. The brands to pursue.

The commercial processes to implement. And ultimately, the team you need around you to win.

For someone who has always wanted the opportunity to build a sales function with the backing of an established international business, this could be a career-defining move.

Who Could You Be?

We're deliberately keeping the profile broad. Your current title could be:

  • VP Sales
  • Head of Sales
  • Sales Director
  • Commercial Director
  • Head of Growth
  • Growth Director
  • VP Growth
  • Head of Clients
  • Client Services Director
  • Client Partner
  • SVP
  • Business Development Director
  • EMEA Sales Leader

Your title matters far less than your track record. You may have built your career inside a leading Shopify agency, eCommerce consultancy, digital experience agency, systems integrator or commerce technology business. You might currently lead sales. You might own growth. You might lead strategic client relationships while carrying significant commercial responsibility.

What matters is that you can demonstrate the ability to create opportunities rather than simply manage inbound demand. You'll know how to build relationships with senior decision-makers. You'll be comfortable operating across different European markets. You'll understand complex, high-value services sales. You'll know how to navigate enterprise buying cycles. And you'll have the credibility, energy and commercial intelligence to help build something much bigger.

Experience within the Shopify / Shopify Plus ecosystem would be extremely valuable, although we're equally interested in exceptional commercial leaders from the wider enterprise commerce and digital experience world.

Why This Opportunity Is Different

You're not joining a start-up hoping to establish credibility. You're joining an established international commerce business with serious delivery capability behind you. You're not inheriting somebody else's narrow sales patch. You're being given the opportunity to help shape growth across EMEA. You're not just managing a sales team.

You'll have the freedom to build the commercial function the market opportunity deserves. You're not selling licences or an off-the-shelf product. You'll be solving significant commerce challenges alongside exceptional strategists, designers, technologists and engineers. And perhaps most importantly:

The opportunity ahead is considerably bigger than the role today.

Why Now?

Because EMEA represents one of the most important growth opportunities for the business. The foundations are there. The reputation is there. The capability is there. What's needed now is the commercial leader capable of turning that potential into scale.

For the right person, that means:

  • Major international brands.
  • Complex, high-value opportunities.
  • Ownership of EMEA growth.
  • Exceptional delivery capability behind you.
  • The freedom to build a team and function.
  • The opportunity to have a genuine impact on the future of an ambitious international commerce business.

This is the kind of opportunity that doesn't come around often. If you've built your career around sales, growth, enterprise eCommerce and winning ambitious brands – and you're ready to build rather than simply inherit – we'd like to speak with you.
