Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Consultant role based in London. The Sales Consultant will welcome clients, present Blancpain timepieces, and provide knowledgeable guidance on collections, features, and heritage. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the sales process from initial contact to after-sales follow-up, preparing quotations, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate client records. The role involves building long-term relationships with clients, proactively developing new business, and meeting individual and boutique sales targets. The Sales Consultant will also contribute to merchandising and store presentation, participate in brand events and trainings, and collaborate closely with the boutique team to ensure an exceptional client experience.

- Client service and communication: Strong interpersonal skills, professional presentation, and the ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships.
- Sales and negotiation: Proven experience in luxury retail or high-end sales, with skills in consultative selling, upselling, and achieving sales targets.
- Product knowledge and brand storytelling: Ability to learn and convey detailed information about mechanical watchmaking, product features, and Blancpain’s heritage in an engaging way.
- Organization and operations: Competence in handling POS systems, maintaining accurate records, managing stock, and supporting daily boutique operations.
- Language and cultural awareness: Excellent spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage for serving an international clientele.
- Professional background: Experience in luxury goods, jewelry, or watchmaking retail is highly desirable; prior work in client-facing roles is essential.
- Education and work style: Relevant professional training or education in business, retail, or hospitality is beneficial; ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and to collaborate effectively within a team.
