Alfred Homes Ltd is a luxury house building company dedicated to creating exceptional, inspiring homes.

Founded in 2009 by Managing Director Gregg Joslin, our company is based in Winchester, Hampshire. Alfred Homes focuses on high-quality, sustainable properties across Winchester, the surrounding area, and selected locations in the Home Counties. Every development is approached with a clear focus on legacy, placemaking, and long-term value for residents and communities.

Role Description

The Sales Consultant role is a temporary part-time, Friday-Sunday on-site position based in and around the Winchester area. A permanent role could become available in the future if the right candidate is found.

The sales consultant will welcome and guide prospective buyers through show homes and developments, providing clear information on property features, pricing, and purchasing options.

  • Scheduling and conducting viewings
  • Maintaining accurate records of leads and client interactions
  • Supporting buyers through each stage of the sales process
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer journey
  • Following up on prospective leads
  • Contributing to targeted sales activities

  • Upholding customer service standards
  • Supporting the achievement of sales objectives

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales Consulting skills, with the ability to understand client needs and recommend suitable property solutions.
  • Excellent Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, focused on delivering a positive buyer experience and building long-term relationships.
  • Clear and confident Communication skills, including the ability to explain technical and financial information in an accessible way.
  • Experience in residential property sales or estate agency, preferably in high-end or new-build homes, is beneficial.
  • Strong organisation, time management, and record-keeping skills, with attention to detail and reliability in handling documentation.
  • Comfortable with lone working, working on-site, including weekends or peak viewing times as required, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic IT proficiency (email, CRM or sales systems, and office software) and a professional, customer-focused demeanor.
  • Previous experience in sales, hospitality, or client-facing roles and knowledge of the local Winchester and Home Counties property market are advantageous.
