The Opportunity

A leading name in the removals and relocation industry is looking for a Sales Estimator to cover Dorset, Hampshire and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales professional — whether you come from removals or a completely different industry — to join a trusted, established brand and build a genuinely rewarding career.

What the Role Looks Like Day to Day

This is not a desk job and it's not a call centre role. You'll be out on the road every day, visiting customers in their homes, understanding their needs, and providing expert guidance and quotations for their move. Your first survey starts at 9am — you travel straight from home. No commute to an office. No micromanagement. Just you, your diary, and a pipeline of warm enquiries from a brand customers already know and trust.

On a typical day you'll:

  • Carry out 4 in-home surveys on average (more during the busy summer peak, fewer in winter)
  • Assess property contents, access, and requirements to build accurate, competitive quotations
  • Guide customers through their options with a consultative, empathetic approach
  • Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings — building relationships, not pressuring people
  • Manage your own diary and pipeline across your territory

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The Earning Potential

Top performers are achieving £10,000–£15,000 in commission on top of their base salary. The benchmark is 300 jobs booked per year (around 25 per month) — hit that and you're hitting your targets. Commission is structured across monthly and quarterly components, rewarding consistent performance.

  • Base Salary: £35,000–£40,000
  • Car Allowance: £4,500
  • Uncapped commission — monthly and quarterly components
  • OTE uplift of £10k–£15k for strong performers

Where You'll Be Based

Covering the Pool Depots territory across Dorset, Hampshire and surrounding areas. Candidates do not need to live in Poole itself. You'll travel from home to your first appointment — no fixed office base required.

Industry Experience? Great. Not From Removals? Also Great.

The right person matters more than the right CV. This client will absolutely consider experienced removals professionals — but they're equally interested in strong sales people from any consultative, face-to-face background.
